Hello everyone, Welcome back to the “Should You Pull” series— Providing you new banner and unit analysis, as well as scouting recommendations!
Note: These reviews are subjective and based solely on the opinions of the author. Today’s piece will cover the new [Unwavering Knight] Alice unit.

Physical Attack: 2356
[Unwavering Knight] Alice now has the highest attack stat among all Non-elemental units, with the next two units being [The Bond Residing in My Sword] Kirito (2324) and [Only what I can do] Sinon (2310). For comparison purposes, she is also just shy of the highest attack stat in the game, which is currently a title held by the new [Serene Shooting Star] Asuna (2410, Light). All things considered, this will result in EM-level damage output, which marks her as a top-tier DPS unit for Non-elemental team compositions.
Other notes on base stats:
The rest of the base stats for [Unwavering Knight] Alice are pretty average and in-line with other recently released units. She has slightly above-average HP (6120), average MP (232) slightly below-average DEF and MDEF (1158 and 1110 respectively), average CRIT (651), and mid-range speed (310). Nothing else noteworthy here.
Impact Back Rush B+
Slash attack (strong) on single enemy. Inflicts Non-elemental Continuous Damage for 3 turns. Incarnate Break 50%.
Rage Sonic Leap A+
Slash attack (extra strong) on a single enemy. Deals added damage on enemies inflicted with Continuous Damage.
Quick & Critical Field
Raises all allies’ critical damage by 10% for 2 turns. Recollection field (non) +1. Short wait time after using skill.
Note: The Quick & Critical Field Skill becomes 3 turns of critical damage buff at Lv.3 once [Unwavering Knight] Alice reaches Lv.105.
Starburst Flash Incarnate Skill
Incarnate Slash attack on a single enemy. Deals added damage on enemies inflicted with Continuous Damage. Raises all allies’ Critical damage by 10% for 2 turns.
Additional Comments: Besides her third skill, the other two are basically the standard when it comes to DPS-oriented units. The fact that her Enhance and Incarnate skills also provided an AOE Buff to CRIT damage gives her a significant leg up in the utility department for Non-elemental teams when compared against other existing on-element units (this because CRIT damage is still the most important and universal Buff to apply).
When should you consider pulling for [Unwavering Knight] Alice?
- If you lack Non-elemental characters, since she can bring an additional high-DPS option to your team composition.
- If you lack breakers, since she now sits as the best Non-elemental breaker above [Blue Rose Memory] Eugeo.
- If you have the additional resources and want to improve your existing Non-elemental team.
- If you really like her character, or are trying to collect all Alice units.
Should I pull?
I think that there is very little downside when it comes to scouting for [Unwavering Knight] Alice, assuming you have the available resources. In addition to the above-listed points, she is the first Non-elemental unit to have both of the new Leader and Member skills that provide a 5% and 1% buff to your entire party’s ATK respectively (having at least one unit with the Leader skill on each elemental team is vital moving forward). On top of this, she is the also the first CRIT Buff unit for the element, so she offers a lot of new options for team compositions.
Benefits aside, she is a comparatively strong character when ranking her against existing units. There are really only six viable units released before her, and all of the breakers besides [Blue Rose Memory] Eugeo are very easy to recommend replacing. The optimal composition being what it is for most teams (3 Chargers, 2 Breakers, and an interchangeable Support like a Charge Yell or Break Yell) basically guarantees her the last spot on your primary team for the foreseeable future.
My personal opinion is to do either the first discount, or pull until Step 3 if you have cubes to spend cubes from the new character missions or elsewhere. After that point it is a safer bet to wait and see what the next Ranking Event banner looks like before continuing through Step 5 and beyond.
What about just doing the first discount pull?
With all of the cubes players are receiving right now thanks to the anniversary campaign, and the fact that [Unwavering Knight] Alice will be an integral part of any Non-elemental team composition at this point in the game, there isn’t really a reason to not go at least one step, assuming you have the resources to do so. For only 125 cubes, pulling even just a single duplicate ★4 makes it generally worth the investment.
Any advice regarding weapon banners?
Discounted weapon banners are 100% worth pulling on, almost every single time. They only cost 75 Diamond Cubes, and pulling even just a single off-banner ★4 makes them worth the investment thanks to their being usable by any unit of that weapon type. Additionally, weapons starting with the first Anniversary units now have a 12% passive buff to ATK/MATK instead of the previous 9% when not MLB (max limit break), so her sword is automatically stronger than pretty much all of the previous ones.
The bottom line for [Unwavering Knight] Alice basically boils down to this: With it being unlikely that we receive another Non-elemental breaker in the near future, Alice is guaranteed a spot on the Non-elemental team of anyone who pulls her unit. She has a vastly superior DPS output when compared against anyone besides [The Bond Residing in My Sword] Kirito and [Blue Rose Memory] Eugeo. In addition to this, she also offers the crucial CRIT damage buff, the new Leader skill 5% ATK bonus, and the Special Partner bonus attack when paired with [Blue Rose Memory] Eugeo. Understandably, some people will have decent enough Non-elemental teams already and prefer to save for upcoming units vs. pulling for this one. But for those with the resources and an interest in improving their Non-elemental team, [Unwavering Knight] Alice is almost a no-brainer to scout for.
